Apple with IBM launches first 10 MobileFirst app for iOS – PianetaCellulare.it

The partnership between Apple and IBM is beginning to bear fruit.

The company, who have signed an agreement earlier this year thanks to which they intend to work together to provide applications for businesses, have started distributing 10 applications as part of the solution MobileFirst IBM for iOS. Applications range in various areas, including travel, banks and governments, and are all designed for corporate customers.

Flight Plan , for example, is designed for airlines , and is designed to let them save costs. Another app, called Retention , allows agents of the insurance industry to help improve the preservation of their first customers. The applications for the governments they serve as assistant social workers and serve to prevent crime.

Apple and IBM have announced their partnership in July. The agreement will see the companies create more than 100 applications for companies , developed exclusively for iPhone and iPad. In addition, cloud services from IBM will be optimized for iOS and the giant company will undertake to sell Apple products bundled with the software developed for companies around the world. The support platform of Apple, AppleCare , will be improved tailored to IBM customers and will include support remotely by IBM employees.

The partnership between Apple and IBM was a surprise to many, but it is extremely important for Apple.
