One of the prototypes of the Apple-1 sold at auction for 365 thousand dollars – In Terris

l vintage, you know, never goes out of fashion, especially when it comes to technology. But the owner of a prototype of the Apple-1 (created by the genius mind of Steve Jobs) was really unlucky. His model was, in fact, sold at auction for “only” 365 thousand dollars. Shortly if you think that some of the ancestors Mac were bought for nearly $ 1 million. The seller mattered farcene least 400 000 (600 000 was his highest expectation).

But, these days, it’s no complaining. Also because 38 years does that same computer had been evaluated by Jobs $ 600. Those were the times in which the inventor of Apple created the future in his garage. Who won the auction the product has, therefore, made a big deal, because along with the Apple-1 was awarded as well the check made by Charles Ricketts, the former owner of the machine, to Apple, in which reads: “Purchased in June 1976 by Steve Jobs in his parent’s garage in Los Altos.” A real coup.
