In 2014, according to data released by ISTAT, the proportion of households that have access to the Internet from home and a broadband connection has increased from 60.7% to 64% and from 59.7% to 62, 7%, but although there are still 21 million and 994 000 people who do not sail (38.3% population). In 2014 more than half of people with at least 3 years of age (54.7%) use the computer and more than half of the population aged 6 and over (57.3%) surf the Internet.
