Samantha Cristoforetti: Merry Christmas Special from ISS 21/12/2014 – First Christmas on board the ISS for Samantha Cristoforetti. ESA astronaut and first Italian woman in space adheres to the campaign promoted by UNICEF to combat child malnutrition in the world. Samantha Cristoforetti has renewed the appeal from the Station International Space Station, in support of UNICEF against child malnutrition. With the opportunity Samantha Cristoforetti has also greetings Merry Christmas to all Italians. Samantha praised UNICEF every day saves millions of boys and girls from malnutrition. The Cristoforetti has therefore invited everyone to help UNICEF in its battle.
Italian Samantha Cristoforetti, 37 years was selected in 2009 by ESA astronaut and is the first Italian to fly in space. Samantha has chosen to associate his extraordinary feat in space to that that UNICEF, on Earth, leading for decades and with the occasion wished Merry Christmas to all.
