The chinese manufacturer would have planned the launch of an enhanced version of the existing OnePlus 3. The name of the new smartphone is expected to be OnePlus Q3, where T is the initial Turbo. The term would be a clear reference to the speed of the processor, which is at the Snapdragon 821. Qualcomm has confirmed on Twitter that the next device from OnePlus will integrate this SoC, already used by other manufacturers in their top of the range.
The Snapdragon 821 is offered in two variants, which differ in the maximum frequency of the CPU Kryo and the GPU is Adreno 530. The model MSM8996 Pro-AB (CPU 2,14 GHz, and GPU at 624 MHz) is integrated in the two Google Pixel and in the Xiaomi Mi 5s, while the model MSM8996 Pro (CPU 2,34 GHz and GPU to 653 MHz) is present in five smartphone (ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe, the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, Xiaomi Mi Note 2, Xiaomi Mi MIX and LeEco The Pro 3).
