To respond to the needs of users constantly on the go, or those that do not have a connection sufficiently powerful to sustain a continuous streaming, Netflix has decided to enable the downloading and offline viewing of some content.
The rollout will probably be gradual, but already today some of the TV series the most popular will be available for offline viewing. Among the many, the success of "Orange Is The New Black", "Black Mirror", the "Narcos", "The Crown" and many others. Download functions will be offered at no extra cost over their subscription plan, all using the application for mobile and tablet, both iOS that Android. To access the feature, simply update the application to the latest version and, when available, select the corresponding download icon.
The solution chosen by the colossus is certainly one of the most important steps in order for Netflix to become more and more a platform of entertainment all round. The ability to use offline movie and TV series, in fact, wink wink to all the fans who, though in possession of a subscription, can’t take advantage of their favorite show with a direct link to the Network.
