it Is a Fund of 10 million euro that the management of viale Trento decided to set up for the acquisition of direct investments in innovative companies. The Fund is an integral part of the regional development plan 2014-2019 in which it is specified the need to give support to risk financing and access to credit.
In essence, it is a tool that increases the potential attraction of Sardinia, strongly reducing the risk for those who want to invest. The fund is aimed at banks, financial intermediaries with community, incubators of innovative start-ups, to joint-stock companies under Italian law or Eu, with which the company’s object and principal activity the management of Venture capital fund and/or the acquisition, holding and management of investments in capital companies.
the beneficiaries are the start-up company with operational headquarters in Sardinia. The minimum amount of investment is equal to 150 thousand euro, the maximum amount of 2 million euros. “It continues our commitment to attract investment and to give strength to the entrepreneurial fabric of Sardinia, especially to innovative companies and start-ups,” said the councillor for Industry, Maria Grazia Piras – We are also encouraging the preparation of private investment and in so doing, we aim to grow the companies which operate in strategic sectors and the new technologies”.
