Arisa and the fur on Facebook: immediately controversy – Magazines poker
After Ligabue also Arisa was attacked on the web for wore a fur apparently true animal hair: the offending photo was posted on her Facebook page and see it next to a cart of ice cream with a fur wearing. A fan and animal rights were hurled against her by saying that they would never buy his cd.
Fortunately, someone said that he was exaggerating to attack the artist in that way because the fur could also be concise and, anyway, just spectacular.
Meanwhile, the artist did not bat an eyelid, who knows if it will do in a few days, as he did in his time Ligabue, who pointed not to have used a real fur as speculated by fans instead of animal rights.
Kodak: in 2015 arriving smartphones and tablets – PianetaCellulare.it
Written by Simone Ziggiotto, the 31/12/14
After the Kodak is almost went bankrupt in 2012, the company has been looking for ways to stay afloat in the market. Now, the brand has announced a partnership with the Group Bullitt to unveil a new range of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets, in the course of an event that will be held during the exhibition CES 2015 scheduled 6 to 9 January.
According to the announcement, the phones will be designed for “consumers who want to experience high-end, but do not lie to them ease in the use of mobile devices increasingly complex. ” The devices will be able to capture images, manage, share files and will also have other features.
It is interesting to note that the devices will feature some of the software for the mangement remotely to allow friends and family to interact in some way with the other remote phones. The phones will have “easy access to the services of printing and sharing”, it is assumed with Kodak cameras. If properly implemented the project, could help differentiate the devices from other smartphones with Kodak camera department strengthened.
There will be Kodak to make these phones, however; it is here that the Group Bullitt comes into play. The group has so far achieved robust mobile devices especially for construction companies, but is evidently trying to broaden the business partners.
The Group CEO Oliver Bullitt Shulte believes that the new smartphone will be able to “face a segment of the mobile device market that has been poorly served to date,” which means that users buy what they find on the market but things that do not really satisfy them fully. For its part, Kodak is “excited” to debut jump into the world of mobile telephony with this latest project, in an effort that aims to save her from the brink of financial misery.
The first device that Kodak will announce one smartphone , but Kodak says that a second “4G phone, a tablet and a smart camera” are coming in the second half of 2015.
All that remains is to wait a week to know this first smartphone from Kodak.
Fingerprints, just a photo to steal identities – PianetaCellulare.it
A hacker says he has developed a way to copy fingerprints using a digital camera common. The hacker has demonstrated his theory with a digital copy of a fingerprint of the Federal Minister of the German defense.
Written by Simone Ziggiotto, the 31/12/14
A hacker says he has developed a way to copy fingerprints using a digital camera common.
Jan Krissler, a member of the oldest group of hackers in Europe, the Chaos Computer Club, made a demonstration of his theory to the Chaos Computer Conference that was held last Saturday. Has been shown to have a digital copy of a fingerprint of the German Federal Minister of Defence, Ursula von der Leyen, using software called VeriFinger, commercially available.
The hacker said a photographer took high resolution photos of the fingers von der Leyen, while he was at a presentation in October – the photographer was standing nine feet away from the minister. Krissler said he was not able to verify whether the fingerprints of von der Leyen is accurate, but said he was confident that it was a copy that could be reused. “I tried it with my finger in similar circumstances (same camera, same distance),” he said in a statement to CNET.com.
The presentation of Krissler calls into question the effectiveness of the fingerprint scanner digital as a safety measure. While this type of technology is on the market since 1990, has been brought up the system of fingerprint reader, which is called Touch ID, that Apple introduced in the iPhone 5S, which could be easily bamboozled. Even Samsung and HTC have taken inspiration from Apple adding a fingerprint reader in some of their smartphones. The player replaces the need to enter a code to unlock a device or, in the case of the system of mobile payments Apple Pay, complete a purchase.
While several other hackers have shown little efficacy of fingerprint readers Digital shortly after the launch of the system TouchID, this verification technique has always required physical access to fingerprint – until now.
Krissler was one of the first to show how to simulate a fingerprint with glue to deceive the TouchID iPhone 5S. “We hope this finally puts to rest the illusions of the people on fingerprint biometrics,” the spokesperson of the Chaos Computer Club, Frank Rieger, said in a statement.

Google Street View: the rules of the Data Protection Commissioner – PianetaCellulare.it
Written by Simone Ziggiotto, the 30/12/14
The Italian Data Protection Authority has established indications that Google will have to follow to continue to capture 360-degree images of places Italian for his service Street View Google Maps , part of the “Google Special Collects”, where Big G will endeavor to publish the information of where he intends to shoot on location, available to anyone online. Detailed information on the activities of Google will be distributed in advance of the date on which the shooting will be carried on the Internet and in the places of interest. Google, specifies the Guarantor, will make recognizable “trekker” carrying photographic equipment on the backpack.
The decision of the Data Protection Commissioner comes following the decision of the Web giant would launch the service in Italy “ Google Special Collects “, which will allow you to record images at 360 degrees in areas not reached by traditional cars of Street View, including archaeological sites, national parks, museums and beaches. Photographic equipment will be transported by foot from operators (trekker), or installed on alternative means, such as ships or trains.
In the request to the Guarantor, Google said that in the museums and other places with limited access will recordings in closing hours to the public . In other areas, such as beaches and open spaces, the filming will be done during the hours in which both less likely to encounter passers .
In addition, as it does today, Google will continue to obscure faces and other identifying details (for example, the license plates of vehicles), which could be picked in the photos, before you make the images available publicly on Maps.
The Authority, as part of the balancing of interests and according to the peculiarities of the service than the standard version of Street View, has forced Google to display information about the shooting locations on its website in Italian in three days before the start of works . Detailed information will be published seven days before shooting began also on the websites of facilities or locations involved.
The day that Google makes shooting also must provide inform people present – also through special warnings or signs – the upcoming recording of images, cos’ visitors can decide not to be framed.
Google eventually will equip operators of adhesives or other alerts to be applied on clothing and equipment , in order to indicate clearly that you are recording images to be published online on Google Maps.
Google Special Collects: guarantor privacy fixed poles, faces shielded – zz7
The data protection commissioner has imposed on Google for ‘stakes’ about the shoot tourist: the purpose is the protection of privacy.
Google will be from now on, for example, information provider prior and shield faces and plates. The requirement is contained in the measure n. 555 of 4 December 2014, adopted by the protection commissioner .
Big G will thus take several precautions in service ‘Google Special Collects’, ie one that disseminates photos of parks, museums, beaches and archaeological sites. Google will have to ensure the privacy of passers-by, tourists and visitors to museums and parks, supply in advance the start of the shoot and provide information on ‘trekkers’, ie those carrying equipment.
Google announced that in museums and Restricted sites will be made recordings only when closed to the public. In open spaces, such as natural areas and beaches, however, Big G will choose times when usually it is unlikely to find passersby and tourists.

Apple, fifteen days to the repayments on the App Store
The new policy is in line with a directive European Union to protect the rights of consumers. Google protest but to risk are application developers
31/12/2014
Good news for those who buy music, movies and online applications: Apple has just introduced a provision for repayment within fifteen days of purchase through iTunes, App Store and iBooks.
While worldwide refunds are screened on a case by case basis by the support team Apple, now on to the countries of the European Union will be in place a different procedure: users will be able to resort to a refund within two weeks after invoicing, except for iTunes gift card if the code has already been used.
The change is related to a new directive on consumer rights approved in June by the European Union, which lists the products and services purchased in countries of the European Economic Area (EEA), which should enjoy a right to redemption or repayment of fifteen days.
But while Apple ran for cover, Google has only partially aligned: on Play Store purchases are refundable within fourteen days with regard to film and subscriptions to streaming music services, while books, albums and individual songs window to present the request for reimbursement is only seven days. Google has decided not to give up on the front of the app, however, whose redemption requests are only valid within two hours of purchase.
The problem raised by the European Directive, as many complain, is that in a fortnight any user can easily complete a game or read a book and ask for the money back having already used the product purchased. The risk, as well, is that they open the door to a form of legalized piracy that could bring more damage to the developers and the creative industry that safeguards consumers honest.

Kodak will launch an Android smartphone at CES 2015 – Notebook Italy
The latest rumors are clear: Kodak will come back on the market with a line of Android smartphones. The presentation will take place at CES 2015 in Las Vegas, scheduled in early January, while marketing is postponed for a few months.
Historically, Kodak is related to traditional photography. The recall is for cameras produced in a variety of models for every need and for each group of users for both his films (professional and amateur) for the development and printing of photographic images. But the crisis has not spared; in recent years the sector has collapsed, but Kodak has held firm. In 2014, while maintaining a production of photographic and cinematographic film, the company is dedicated primarily to industrial printing systems and professional sensors for touch screens, and chemicals. The production lines regarding historical productions of Kodak (storage media, batteries, cameras and others) have been licensed trademark to outside companies. In practice, it has remained on the market by moving (or expanding) its core business.
The last step will be taken to the CES 2015 where Kodak will present its first Android smartphone. The terminal will be built by Bullitt Group, which has licensed the Kodak brand and is already known in the panorama hi-tech for its line of rugged smartphone CAT.
smartphone Kodak will feature the “best software for image management, editing and sharing ” and will be dedicated to those users who “wants to experience high-end, but on a simple and comfortable to use” . In practice it will be directed to those who are not familiar with the technology. Software Remote Management will also allow friends and family to access “remote” terminal providing support. It will be based on Android . For now we do not know other technical data, which will be unveiled at CES 2015, but Bullitt Group ensures that in the second half of 2015 will follow smartphones, tablets and 4G cameras.

CCC again against fingerprints – Computer Point
Rome – The CCC (Chaos Computer Club) takes advantage of the opportunity of the CCC (Chaos Communication Congress) to present a new method of violation of authentication technologies based on fingerprints, an economic and practical demonstrate once again the insecurity of biometric protections.
The CCC is in fact long been committed to demystify the supposed superiority of biometrics in the field of computer security, a myth that never gets old even in the era of fingerprint readers integrated in mobile phones coolest on the market.
The new attack, as always directed against a “powerful” of German and European policy is based on the use of a photograph freely available to the public: the hackers of the CCC have integrated with other photo shots taken from other angles, and eventually they “extract” a fingerprint of German Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen with software VeriFinger.
Thus, experts of the CCC – has always been committed to issue warnings about the dangers of insecurity online – claim to be able to recreate a copy of a fingerprint able to fool the security systems to biometric reading.

Italy, running on sight for Street View – Computer Point
Rome – When Street View began to scrutinize the museums and archaeological sites, go to the parks and to immortalize the beaches, the Privacy Italian did not fail to warn Google: the eye of the service mapping will always be evident, its presence must be reported in advance, so as to guarantee citizens the possibility of escape.
The measure of ‘ Italian authority, which since 2010 has followed with concern the delve of Street View in the road network of the beautiful country and that in recent months has sanctioned Google for having been barely recognizable in their mapping operations, following the announcement in which Google has informed want to continue, even in Italy, with “Special Collects”, namely the “collecting images in unique locations and remote, including those with special natural value, historical and tourist” to return a look in the round on the wonders of the world. Mountain View, in September, had made it clear to the Guarantor the specificity of the mapping, made “on foot, by means of special equipment mounted on a backpack (cd. Trekker), or even, depending on the type of places,” through a boat or a train “and had assured that it would proceed with the utmost caution, respe cting the rights of citizens.
This is why Mountain View is committed to proceed with the collection of images in times where environments immortalized are closed to the public and, in the case of open spaces such as beaches, parks, archaeological sites and trails, “at times when it is less likely to encounter passersby.” Since it is impossible to exclude immortalize someone accidentally, Google reassured about the authority to run in obfuscation mechanisms of faces, details of the housing and automobile license plates and ask about the possibility of removal and blurring even more targeted.
Google has however asked the Supervisor be relieved from the obligation to report transactions mapping in advance by radio and newspapers, also by virtue of the ” public interest to promote and protect territories (…) and places that are special and unique “: communicate with advance passage of the cameras of the service could trigger an opposite reaction, with concentrations of onlookers in areas that can not accommodate crowds.
The Italian authority has granted the requests and commitments of Mountain View and ordered that Google makes its own publication of notices on their websites and the page reference in the three days preceding the collection of the images, and on the websites, in newsletters and publications of the organizations and institutions that manage the facilities and spaces that Google is going to be mapped.
Google must guarantee visibility to its trekker and people manipulating them also during the mapping operations, with reports and alerts, with “stickers, signs or other distinguishing marks visible “affixed to the equipment and on clothing of workers at work: the Supervisor prescribes” indicate, unequivocally, that you are acquiring photographs snapshots be published online through the service Google Special Collects within Street View on Google Maps for publication “.

The clues point once again, however, on the intervention of the Chinese authorities, which on the other hand have indirectly confirmed this accusation saying by state media that “Google is welcome in China if he intends to abide by Chinese laws.”
Mountain View, for its part, reported to have occurred and have not encountered any problems in their infrastructure.
According to analysts of Dyn Research the authorities would block certain IP addresses Hong Kong: Since 2009 Google has discontinued some of its services in China, not wanting to give in to the pressures of the censorship of the local government and has decided to transfer its servers from China to Hong Kong, so as to be close to Chinese users but outside the boundaries of the Great Wall Digital.

The continued funding received from Xiaomi emphasize the rapid success of the company, who found the third place in 2014 in the ranking of the largest producers of smartphones for the sale of low-cost devices.
In a year when Samsung has seen its profits decline strongly in favor of several established competitors – from Motorola to HTC – Xiaomi stood out . The valuation of the company has more than quadrupled from its previous value estimated after the loans received in 2013.
Xiaomi , however, is not without problems. Ericsson has sued for violation of its patents Xiaomi earlier this month, leading to the ban on the sale of its smartphones in India. The ban was temporarily lifted, but the litigation continues.
The company has been criticized for similarities between its devices – both smartphone tablet that – with the products of Apple . The head of the design of Apple products, Jony Ive, Xiaomi accused of “theft” of the design of its products and of “being lazy”. Hugo Barra, vice president of Xiaomi and a former Google executive, said that while its designers are inspired by many things, Xiaomi is in place from the legal point of view (to reiterate that it has copied but it is only inspired).
While Apple makes a large profit from the sale of high-profile devices like iPhone 6, Xiaomi sells products in bulk in a sales ‘flash’ is receiving a very small profit from each product sold. Its primary goal is to get more devices in the hands of the people, in order to then sell software and services for these devices.

Google, Gmail blocked in China from 3 days – PianetaCellulare.it
Written by Simone Ziggiotto, the 12/29/14
The popular email service Gmail Google has become unavailable in China, in what appears to be the latest move by Beijing to curb the presence of the American giant in the country.
The data on Google’s website show that traffic Gmail in China fell sharply from Friday. The service seems to be blocked for applications on mobile devices, that were able to connect with it.
Google spokesman Taj Meadows said that “there was nothing for us” .
The State Internet Information Office of China did not respond to a request for comment by the media. During a press conference, the spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry Hua Chunying said he was not aware of the matter.
The Chinese authorities, who strictly control the content online, sometimes lock or unlock the Internet sites and services without giving reasons. It is not clear whether access to Gmail has been deliberately blocked.
Foreign Services like Facebook, Twitter and Google’s YouTube, among others, are blocked in China.
Gmail and other Google services are being blocked in China as early as June, before the 25th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square crackdown. However, Gmail users were able to log in using the email applications of third parties.
Google has clashed with Beijing in 2010, after the company decided to stop censoring search results on the Internet in China. Google has moved most of its Chinese operations in Hong Kong as a result, and many of the services of the company in the mainland have since worked intermittently.
As for the other services blocked in China, users Gmail will now have to access the application via virtual private networks or exploit other methods able to circumvent censorship.
