Apple Music on Android now available – PianetaCellulare.it

Apple has officially entered in the Play Store app Apple Music, now available for Android smartphones.

Apple has surprised his fans (and not) when it announced last June that its streaming music service, Apple Music, would arrive in the fall also on Android, but a little ‘this announcement was expected since, in order to compete with competing services such as Spotify, Apple would not have been able to launch an exclusive service for its iDevices but would have to think of a multi-service platform.

Apple has never made available its app on Google Play Store, at least until the release of iOS 9 as published on the app store for its Android software ‘Move to iOS’ to facilitate the transition from Android to iOS. The next app we’ve seen appear in the Play Store is just Apple Music.

Apple Music was expected to arrive in the fall on Android devices, but the company since November 11 has released the app, which, although in version beta gives access to (almost) all the features offered by the music service. Since the app is currently available in beta Android users it is possible that some bugs or crashes the app can be. Video playback at the time is not yet enabled, while the registration process seems to have problems during the purchase of a family plan.

In recent weeks had been published screenshots that showed in the preview It appeared to be a version of Apple Music for Android devices. Screenshots leaked showed some of the various sections of the app, as New and For You , as well as streaming of Radio 01 Beats. Now that the app is officially available in the Play Store, we can say that the screenshots were true.

The application Apple Music for Android is almost identical in appearance to the version for iOS, but incorporates some design conventions Android, such as the menu ‘Navigation Drawer’ in the upper left. With slight changes to the graphics aside, the experience of using Apple Music on Android does not change from that available to customers iOS.

Who has not already begun the free trial to the service since launch Apple Music was launched, and then try to access for the first time in the service, when will download the app will have the opportunity to log in with your AppleID (or can create a new one if you have not yet registered) and initiate a free trial of three months (then remember to turn off the renewal if you do not care to continue paying the subscription).

Now all Android users who want to try the Apple Music on your smartphone are then free to do so, by starting even three months free free trial if you do not already benefited from this promotion since Apple Music It was launched.

In October, Apple CEO Tim Cook has provided an update on the Apple Music, which now has over 15 million users, of which 6.5 million are subscribers who pay 9.99 dollars per month and 8.5 million are still using the free trial version of three months. The debut of the service on Android devices could help to increase the number of paying users of Apple Music.
