Google has decided to open to the world of open source your digital system of self-learning at the base of many of the services offered by announcing TensorFlow , a machine learning system used both in research and in business.
TensorFlow is the machine learning system that replaces the predecessor DistBelief , for which is considerably more flexible , easy to use, portable and of course, far more powerful and able to double the performance in different benchmarks.
The elaborate system of algorithms TensorFlow generated an artificial intelligence also used by the same Google and the basis of different services made available to users from Big G as Google Maps (from a few days finally also available offline on Android and iOS), the automatic response system Smart Reply GMail, Google Translator and many others.
Despite the huge potential and the already developed IA, TensorFlow is still in its infancy and still needs deep studies, research and development as explained by Sundar Pichai , Google CEO, on the occasion of the official presentation of the project:
“The ‘machine learning ‘is still in its infancy, he can not do what a child of four years ago as easily recognize a dinosaur after seeing him in pictures a few times. We have much work to do but TensorFlow is a good start and will help us to do this work together. We hope that the community working on machine leraning exchange ideas quickly as possible to accelerate research. TensorFlow is a good platform not only for technology but is also useful for researchers who want to give meaning to their amount of data, the findings on the protein to those concerning astronomy. “
TensorFlow according to Google is highly scalable and can be used on desktops, mobile gadgets, supercomputers and distributed infrastructures in the cloud, making it accessible to anyone who wishes to access it. Google decided to make open source system TensorFlow, providing a unique tool for research and for the business sector and at the same time allow developers to contribute to the growth of this AI and can thus offer even better products than today.
