Instagram, advertising arrives in Italy – ANSA.it

The advertising on Instagram arrives in Italy. The social network owned by Facebook dedicated to sharing images announced that it has opened all its advertising platform, giving way for advertisers to plan advertising campaigns ad hoc.
The novelty is not only Italy but thirty countries, including Spain and India. The app will appear sponsored various formats, from photos to video clips of 30 seconds.

The opening of the advertising platform has already begun – even in Italy appear the first photo Sponsored – and will further expand globally the 30 September. Listings says Instagram on the company blog, Facebook advertising will leverage on the infrastructure, to allow advertisers to small, medium and large businesses convey their messages in a targeted manner based on the tastes of the users.

> So the planning of advertising can leverage the data profiling the social network in blue. The sponsored posts – already tested in the US with selected brands – will always be indicated by appropriate ‘label’, with the addition of external links. The recent update of the formats in which to publish a photo on Instagram, not only square but also rectangular, winks its advertisers.
Instagram has over 300 million users worldwide, of which 30% in the US alone. Every day 70 million shared photos that collect 2.5 billion ‘like’ newspapers.
