All used the resistive touch, which was less precise and required a higher pressure, and all worked with interfaces that were not designed to be used with a finger: icons microscopic, invisible writing, link difficult to hit. The stylus was the way to solve the original sin of an operating system designed to work with a mouse and keyboard.
The styles for iPad existed for quite some time, with prices ranging from a few euro a few dozen, but no one offers this level of precision and versatility: the result is due to the fact that uses a display improved version of the multi-touch technology. And the electronic pencil Apple, with its sensors, adds an additional mode of use, covering the needs of certain niche: creative artists, who now buy expensive graphics tablets, or doctors and professionals who need to interact with documents quickly and easily, to comment on them and share them with others.
