Watch Apple tattoos and heart-pounding – Computer Point

Rome – Apple has confirmed the problems identified in recent days regarding a ‘ incompatibility detection system heartbeat of his Apple Watch with the presence of tattoos on the wrist of the wearer .
The problem was reported by the comments of the first users, who posted some videos.
Now came the official confirmation with the updating of the documents supporting Apple Watch, in clarifying that “changes permanent or temporary to their skin like tattoos, can have an impact on the ability to analyze the heart rate sensor device”.

To create the problems smartwatch of Cupertino is the fact that ‘ ink used, the patterns of the design, the small injections alter perfusion: the process in which a body supplies blood to the capillary bed is one of the factors analyzed by Apple Watch to offer its users a reading of their heartbeat, and can vary according to several factors including – in fact – external interventions on the skin.

In particular, the ink of tattoos prevents the sensors of the smart watch to detect accurately perfusion and then to offer an accurate reading of the heartbeat user wearing it: to remedy this problem eventually, Cupertino suggests connecting the device to an external reader – perhaps through Bluetooth – that bypasses the lock tattoo. And in any case stresses that Apple Watch has other systems to monitor the health of its members and encourage them to exercise.
