Artik, the Internet of Things according to Samsung – Mr.Webmaster

The spokesman for the South Korean giant Samsung have taken advantage of the stage of the conference Internet of Things World which took place this week in San Francisco to announce the arrival of Artik , a platform overdue and entirely dedicated to the implementation of solutions based on technologies for the ‘ Internet of Things .

Basically Artik allow you access to the electronic board (in three different models), very small, already ready to be configured in the shortest possible time and to connect to the data network; on these cards will be mounted processors, modules for the communication support as well as sensors for the detection of the surrounding space.

Asian based company should be given credit for having sought an architecture that unifies the basic tools for the development dedicated IoT; who wants to improve a drone, interact with a refrigerator or integrate new features in a smartphone, Artik represent in any case an alternative to be evaluated for their project.

This initiative was strongly supported by Young Sohn , President of the multinational Seoul, a manager who believed in the potential of the IoT from the beginning, his idea to buy the startup SmartThings; after the presentation of Moscone Center now wait for Samsung to be the toughest test, that of the market.
