The new dimension of space looks to the future. The futuristic tv will be as thin as a sheet of paper (or almost) and you hang on the wall like a poster thanks to a magnet.
The measures? are mind-boggling: the thickness of the panel, 55-inch, is precisely to 0.97 mm, the Weight? Two kilograms poor .
LG Display, the South Korean company’s division dedicated to OLED panels, in an event Seoul, showed its futuristic “concept” of TV of the latest generation: the new TV will be a “TV-poster” that adheres to the wall like a wallpaper with simple magnets … Incredible but true.
The television in OLED technology, unlike conventional LCD TVs which require a backlight to function, are based on trying to produce their own light through ‘use of organic material.
The manufacturer stressed that this is a prototype, a product to be improved, still under verification.
