Bleep, upgrading communication BitTorrent – Computer Point

Rome – With its distributed architecture and its promise of inviolability, Bleep extends its range: the messaging service and communication developed by BitTorrent consolidates its functions and starts to accommodate the iOS device users.
Accrued in full time Datagate to meet sprawling surveillance of institutions, founded on the same network DHT exploited by users of P2P and armored by a system of encryption end-to-end, after a phase Testing lasted a few months Bleep was launched in an alpha version: the messaging application has now been released in the stable version, for Windows users, OS X, Android and iOS.

No registration is required for users, and It connects to a phone number or an email is optional: just a pseudonym for start communicating with your contacts, added to its network through the phone book, with the exchange of their Bleep Key or in person, through QR codes. You can entertain voice conversations and send and receive text messages, pictures and video, even with Whisper, which preserves the content locally for 25 seconds and prevents screenshots prying obscuring the names of the interlocutors exchanged or content.

Bleep is but one of many options that vie for the attention of users on the messaging market-oriented policy: the experience of Hemlis teaches that, for the success, network effects are more determinants of real protection guaranteed by the app. For this reason there are those, like EFF, industry is to inform the masses not careful enough in choosing the service that best know how to respect promises often disregarded.
