It will be a luxury product and will compete with the Apple Watch.
Google, Intel and TAG Heuer: this is the unusual alliance that later this year will produce the “smartwatch definitive”, based on Android Wear.
The announcement was made at Baselworld, the world show that the watch is held in Basel (Switzerland) until 26 March.
At the moment, over the announcement of this mysterious product there is nothing: no specifications have been revealed, nor shown prototypes.
What is clear though is that it will be a luxury watch, built with the best available technology, and that will be “extraordinary, better and smarter,” the words David Singleton, Google: We can therefore predict that will not be a smartwatch for all budgets.
It seems in fact that the collaboration between the three companies has a purpose: to compete with the Apple Watch, whose arrival on the market is imminent, with a product that offers a quality design and a budget technology up.
