In Italy Facebook worth 6 billion and 70 thousand jobs – Altopascio.info

But besides stealing time Facebook also represent a great opportunity for growth for SMEs (small and medium enterprises) , in fact, the social network has generated an economic impact of € 6 billion and has helped create 70,000 jobs through three major areas, which are the areas of expertise of Facebook: advertising, development and sale of applications and the rest in the sale of devices and services for the connettitività.

Just “ The economic impact of Facebook in Italy ” was the theme of a meeting that was held in Rome at the Ministry of Economic Development. The debate got under way on the results of a recent study conducted by Deloitte on behalf of Facebook, which highlights how the Internet, technology and, in particular, Facebook represent strategic levers that drive growth and job creation work in the world and in Italy.

The meeting was also an opportunity to talk about the recent partnership between Facebook and Confcommercio, which led to the signing of a memorandum of understanding aimed at encouraging the development of ‘ innovation and digital culture within SMEs.
