Facebook, an app prohibited to people over 21 – ANSA.it

(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 22 – Facebook back to its origins in 2004, when it was proposed as a collection of faces and biographies of Harvard students. The backflip happens with lifestage, an iPhone prohibited to those who have more than 21 years. Launched in the United States, the app is designed to bring together students from the same school or neighboring schools. Enrollment, in fact, each student must declare what is the school of belonging, and will only see the profiles of students attending the same institution or institutions that are geographically close.
Just profiles are new: all information personal, usually provided in writing, are replaced by video. The app, which aims to undermine the success of Snapchat among young people, poses a series of questions – from making a happy face to the way you dance, to those who are best friends – and members respond with short videos.
the videos are visible to classmates, provided they are over 21 years old. The older ones can still register, but they have denied the vision of other people’s profiles. To prevent the intrusion of adults in disguise, users have no way to report suspicious profiles. (ANSA).
