A Mountain View have decided to get serious, perhaps worried about the launch of the pre-order Oculus Rift targati Facebook. The news was in the air for some time and has now been confirmed, at least according to what the site writes Recode: Google will create a division dedicated to virtual reality and we will ride Clay Bavor, responsible for developing software products like Gmail, Drive and docs. In its place will come into scene Diane Greene, former senior vice president of the company and a past as CEO of VMware, a company that helped found in 1998.

As there is still nothing official and details argument are many sorties. Of course that is something Google is moving and it is reasonable to think that the future activities in the field of virtual reality will be based on the experience gained with the project Cardboard. To compare, in terms of viewers, with other big technology, from Samsung to Microsoft via Oculus, Bigg but must make substantial progress.

The substantial investment in Leap Magic, Stars and Stripes startup specializing in the field of straight lines increased and stronger and raise money that has touched the 600 million dollars, will do so certainly useful to the cause. Horizon looms a market that analysts consider potentially very effervescent but still very immature. According to Gartner, a total of over 1.4 billion PCs in use worldwide in 2016 only 1% can interface with devices for providing virtual reality entertainment experience satisfactory. Time to refine technologies and products so there is but Google, rightly, does not seem to want to waste time. And to risk too much to chase away the competition.
