Sunglasses at bargain prices . Too bad that it is a scam. The ‘virus of Ray Ban’ is back to rage on the Facebook pages of half Italian. Is held every year since 2012, although at different times. Yet many still fall into the trap.

The virus has in the form of a notification from a friend who invites us to participate in a mysterious “Charity Auction of Ray-Ban Italy” , organized from “The establishment of Ray.Ban”.

A page that inevitably capture the attention of users as it promises the purchase of designer eyewear at an unbeatable price: just under twenty Euros, half of which will go to charity.

Just click on the page and malware appropriates the heading of the victim user and mails itself automatically to all contacts, spreading like wildfire.

The goal, however, is another: entice users to click on a page (a fake e-commerce site) where the attempt to scam gets serious: the goal is Our credit card. If you are among the unlucky to be dropped in the middle of the trap, the only thing to do is lock your credit card (and hopeful).

If you’re bound to click on the Facebook page of the scam, just a few simple steps to protect your account (and that of your contacts): change your Facebook password, deleted all posts shouts that were not created by you. Finally take a look at the browser add-ons and delete all those who are unfamiliar. It does not hurt to scan your PC with your antivirus.
