Facebook is the most used app in the world in 2015, but does not attract young people? – Blasting News

Facebook was the application of the 2015 most used and visited by far. The social network Mark Zuckerberg has managed to overcome YouTube and finished with a distinct advantage in the first place. The popular platform for video, however, stops at the second position, followed closely by Apple Music. Facebook, however, is starting to lose share of the youngest. He revealed a survey conducted in the US in 1000 college students.

The study is an initiative of the American Society WayUp . Each student was asked to draw up a list of the ten must-have app on a smartphone and its findings confirmed the company Facebook in the first place. The social networking site in and of itself has topped the charts in most cases, but also other services Zuckerberg were among the most cited. Instagram , in fact, has even got the second place. In third, fourth and fifth place, however, we find respectively snapchat, Twitter and Spotify. The last five, finally, go to YouTube, Netflix, Tumblr, Pinterest and Me Group.

You may have noticed, then, that most of the applications listed are social : seven on a list of ten names. Things, however, do not bring much good for Zuckerberg. Though still in first place, Facebook than Instagram only for two percent of the votes. Last year, in fact, the site has undergone a decline in the popularity of four percent and the rapid advance of app dedicated solely to images is a serious threat. The latest trend among young Americans, it seems, coincides with the interests of Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr. Users are moving toward platforms made mainly of photos and gif you can see, comment and share with extreme speed. Another threat to the empire of Mark is definitely the fall of WhatsApp for the benefit of Twitter and snapchat. These, in fact, are far more popular in the US than in our country. It will be better that the young new dad will let him to recapture the interest of young people, otherwise it runs the risk of losing everything because of the competition.
