The next version of Android will be called Marshmallow, just like the candy and gummy white Made in the USA. So the “mysterious” for now only Android version called M, assumes the traditional nickname in a “candy”. But the news does not end there: Android Marshmallow will be identified as the 6.0 release of Android, a sign that Google considers a version of “principal” and not just an update as some had thought.

The opportunity to communicate this news was laying at the Google Campus, the traditional statue with the little green Android (ce n ‘it is one for each version), this time dealing with the chewy sweet white. I treated it a clear sign of the fact that it started the countdown to the launch of Android, which should bring with it especially important innovations in terms of safety, as the possibility of giving permission for the use of services and devices only in case of actual use of the app and not directly during installation.

Addirittura back in 2012, the US site Android Foundry, almost with an air of visionary, had prepared the background just in Android theme and marshmallow: the occasion was the anniversary of August 30, the national day of toasted marshmallow, all-American celebration in which the inhabitants to stars strips and use to pass the candy white skewered on a stick in the flame of a barbecue.
