Discovers flaw Messenger, Facebook takes off the stage – The Republic

ARAN KHANNA was ready. He would begin an internship at Facebook from there a few days. But then he had a very bad idea: to make known to all a flaw Messenger, chat linked to the social network of Mark Zuckerberg, of which no one knew. No one outside the system builders Facebook.

But it could not pass unnoticed by the watchful eyes of the social networks most used in the world that has asked its future intern immediately disable the app and not to talk to the press. A nothing is served, however the fact that Aran has followed instructions to the letter: shortly after he received a phone call from Facebook who wrote terminating the internship. The reason? The blog post was not appropriate to “high ethical standards” of the company.

A week after the fact, the company has released an update of the app Messenger: “With this update, you have full control of how and when sharing your location information. “
