Apple Music is a (half) flop? – The Messenger

It seems that Apple Music, the music streaming service launched on 30 June by the Cupertino giant, has made inroads among users.

According to research conducted by MusicWatch, 48% of users of Apple Music has stopped using the service, which will be free until September 30, while only 11% of users of iOS, the operating system for iPhone and iPad, Apple has downloaded music. In contrast, 40% of these users download songs for a fee on iTunes. In addition, 61% of users would have already turned off the feature that allows automatic renewal will end when the free trial period.

The survey, conducted on 5,000 US consumers, was rejected by Apple, according to which users who are still taking advantage of the free trial would be 79%. Two weeks ago, the senior vice president of the company, Eddy Cue, Apple had announced that Music had reached 11 million customers.
