How will the Samsung Galaxy S8 – Printing

Two measures, a display that occupies almost the entire front of the smartphone, a new processor and a dock to turn it into a real computer. So will the Samsung Galaxy S8, new top of the range Samsung. Expected initially at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, will be presented a month later, probably on the 29th march, and will hit stores in the second half of April.

these Are all rumors and there is no official confirmation, but for once, even the Guardian seems to have its own sources that confirm what you read from time on the network. According to the british newspaper, the Galaxy S8 in the two versions will have screens between 5 and 6 inches (the previous model was available with display of 5.1 and 5.5-inch). This time, however, both the Galaxy S8 will display rounded on the edges: will not exist in short, a regular model and an "Edge". The screen "infinity display" that would leave open only the portions of the minimum of the chassis at the top and bottom, then in all likelihood the fingerprint sensor will be placed on the back. Perhaps, but the Guardian does not say) may work from the home button. Other sources claim that the home button will be virtual and built into the screen.

Whether the Dream the Dream 2 (these are the code names of the devices) will use the technology to scan the iris in view of the unfortunate Galaxy Note 7: allow you to unlock the device and pay for purchases online literally in a blink of an eye. There would be rather big news for the camera, which should remain single-sensor, without following the fashion launched by Lg, Huawei and Apple. Other technical details: Snapdragon processor 835 or the Samsung Exynos (depending on market), 64 GB of storage, expandable with mini SD card, 4 or 6 GB of Ram memory, battery 3000 mAh and 3500 mAh depending on the model, Usb port-C, resistance to dust and water, as is the tradition for the Korean company. Contrary to what was said at first, should be the jack for the headphones; can also the presence of two stereo speakers made by Harman, the company that Samsung bought for 8 billion dollars.

After the collapse of profits in the last quarter for the disastrous flop of the Galaxy Note 7 , Lee Kyeong-tae, vice president of mobile, Samsung, said to expect "some difficulty until the first quarter of 2017, with the expectation of return in profit with the launch of our new smartphone". Lee would have then added that the strengths of the S8 will be "an avant-garde design, an improved camera, and an important use of artificial intelligence." The reference may be to the new virtual assistant technology, Viv, a company founded by some of the creators of Siri and sold to the Korean company. On the Galaxy S8 may have a dedicated button and be named Bixby, but – says the Guardian – the name is not final yet. Don’t know if the new Samsung will also use Assistant as the two smartphone Pixels on the Google, but almost certainly will make use of artificial intelligence for different functions, for example the recognition of objects in the photo.

Among the most curious of the Galaxy S8 there should be the possibility to use it also as if it were a computer, thanks to a special dock that lets you connect it to a monitor, keyboard, and other peripherals. The system may be called DeX (desktop extension) and work in a similar way to the technology Continuum of smartphones working with Microsoft Windows, which effectively turns the phone into a pc. Here, however, there is some uncertainty, due to the fact that the operating system is Android, which does not provide a desktop version, and the limited success of previous attempts, starting from the old Atrix Motorola.

The most recent indiscretion, this time not coming from the Guardian, for the price, which should be significantly higher than the Galaxy S7: speaking of 799 euros for the smallest model and 899 euro for the one with a larger display.
