Rome – Periscope embraces the green robot. The application of Twitter for live streaming from your smartphone, debuts globally also the most popular operating system, Android. The app was initially available only for iPhone and iPad, and then with ijl operating system iOS, and now aims to conquer the large segment of users of mobile operating system from Google. The functions are mostly the same although Android users have additional options available, beginning with greater control over notifications.
Launched in late March only for iOS, Periscope is now also available for devices with system Android 4.4 Kitkat or later. The application says Twitter in a note, can be downloaded shortly from Google Play Store and allows to share experiences and events live streaming from anywhere. The version for Android supports all the features already available to iOS users, like the ability to turn public broadcasting or reserved for specific users or the ability to comment only to those who follow.
However, there are features exclusive to Android , beginning with greater control over notifications Periscope, such as “First Time Broadcast notifications” (when a user who already follow on Twitter broadcasts of Periscope for the first time) and “Share notifications” (when someone follow on Periscope shares the live stream of someone else). But not only. Periscope for Android also offers the “Resume notification” that allows the user to return to follow a live stream that had to stop (because of a phone call or a message).
