20:34 – Un’ospita space. Astro Samantha was connected with the Conference Center of the World Exhibition in Milan. In the presence of Defence Minister Roberta Pinotti, astronaut Luca Parmitano and the ad Expo Giuseppe Sala, the Cristoforetti said the news of the day: the prolongation of a month for his mission on the international space station. “To remain in orbit a little ‘- he said – is for me a pleasure and a privilege.”

His return to Earth scheduled for 14 May, in fact, , it has been postponed to Thursday, June 11, because of the problems experienced by the Russian cargo ship Progress. “I’m sorry”, admits Astro Samantha. “Here there is still much work to do.” In his mission some experiments concerning nutrition and agriculture in the future, topics very close to those of Expo 2015.
