Released the new versions of the macOS Sierra 10.12.1 and tvOS 10.0.1 for Mac and Apple TV – Smartworld

After releasing new firmware updated for mobile platforms, Apple is thinking at the computer and TV box make updates available to you with macOS Sierra 10.12.1 and tvOS 10.0.1.

with regard To the new version for the MacBook and iMac, in addition to the usual performance improvements under the hood, we note the introduction of the photos in Portrait mode taken with the iPhone 7 Plus, some of the new features likely to the next MacBook Pro, for which the presentation should now be imminent.

  • Adds an automatic smart album in Photos for Depth Effect images taken on the iPhone 7 Plus
  • Improves the compatibility of Microsoft Office when using the iCloud Desktop and Documents
  • Fixes an issue that may prevent Mail from updating when using a Microsoft Exchange account
  • Fixes an issue that caused text to sometimes paste (incorrectly when using the Universal Clipboard
  • Improves reliability of the Car Unlock with the Apple Watch
  • Improves the security and stability in Safari

the new version of tvOS for the Apple TV does not bring significant changes, if not small improvements to the performance and security. Probably in the next updates will come the waiting for single sign-on feature, but for now you have to settle.

The new firmware are already available for all the compatible devices, so we invite you to check manually the presence of the update and proceed with the download.
