Nintendo Switch? In China it already exists, it’s called Morphus X300 – Tom’s Hardware

China, you know, produces versions “alternatives” of every electronic device, yet this time was able to beat the time even Nintendo’s. The company Aikun Electronics produces the Morphus X300, a tablet gaming controller-removable-very similar to the Nintendo Switch just presented.

This tablet
is already on sale for more than a year and despite not having a station dedicated to connect directly to the tv as the Nintendo Switch, the solution of the chinese company has really ahead of the times.

of Course, this is an Android tablet, which is very different from the new Nintendo console, which, instead, can rely on custom hardware, thanks to the collaboration with Nvidia. But despite the similarities stop at the controller side removable, the idea of Nintendo is not as innovative compared to the Morphus X300, which is on sale for a lot longer.

you will Think that it’s a little trivia worthy of note but it is always interesting to note how the Nintendo Switch is experiencing a good response from the audience, although this is not the device the most innovative in the world.

Nintendo has a visibility of public and critical significantly greater compared Aikun Electronics or any other company that has ever produced a console based on ARM architecture – some of you will remember Ouya? – that could ensure the success of the new console.

Morphus X300

it Remains only to find out if the train of hype will quiet his own way or if deraglierà once revealed the cost. We are honest, few would pay 300€ for a Morphus X300 but how much are we willing to spend for the Nintendo Switch, since you will have to compete with the PS4 Pro Xbox and Scorpio?
