The second edition of Maker Faire Rome ends, with the echo of 90,000 people who have watched and touched with the hand more 600 inventions. And who lived 360 kids in a workshop of 2000 square meters, inhabited by 15,000 between boys and girls. Maker Faire Rome has recharged the batteries: we now know that this can be a great launching pad for a better future. Maker Faire is the largest event in the world of innovation, an exhibition devoted to the whole family that focuses on creativity and inventiveness in addition to being the celebration of the “Maker Movement”. The Maker Faire is the place where the innovators of the third millennium show the projects they’re working on and share technological knowledge and craftsman. Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition is a project promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Rome and organized by its Special Asset room. Curators of the exhibition are Massimo Banzi, co-founder of Arduino and Riccardo Luna. The second edition of Maker Faire Rome will be home at the Auditorium Parco della Musica designed by Renzo Piano, which will be transformed for the occasion into a real “village of Innovation” of 70,000 square meters.
