Take flight this evening at 17.30 the first officially authorized drone ENAC to fly over a portion of the capital.
The demonstration is the culmination of Rome Drone Conference held today in Rome and which has as its theme the Drone Journalism. The new technological frontier of journalism between growth prospects and privacy concerns .
The pioneer in this field will be a drone FlyNovex, produced by the Roman FlyTop; it is an aircraft equipped with rotors 6, with a diameter of 120 centimeters, a height of 45 centimeters and a weight of 7 kg.
With a range of 20 minutes, can be used to monitor from the territory and shoot with the camera that equips; is also equipped with a cart and a parachute.
The demonstration today is to try “that you can use these resources in critical areas such as a city, in full compliance with the rules in force ‘ explains Luciano Castro, president of Rome Drone Conference.
“Too many drones fly, a bit ‘all over Italy, without the necessary permissions. The coincidence with our conference on “drone journalism” will show a number of journalists and media professionals the usefulness of these aircraft drones for the journalistic activities’ continues Castro.
Today is however only the first of the scheduled conferences from here until April and that they will treat the professional use of the drones from different points of view and examining the various possibilities of use: from environmental monitoring and cultural heritage applications in science, the issues related to flight safety up the use of drones to help agriculture.
