A new generation of Lenovo Yoga – Computer Point

Rome – Lenovo cashes the confirmation of the position of largest PC vendor in the world and investing in the renewal of the brand Yoga, a successful line of devices (tablet, laptop and convertible) based on Intel x86 CPU with the strong vocation for the refined design and flexible configurations including rotary screens, micro-projectors and ultra-thin.

The new generation Yoga involves first of all the arrival of the renewed models of Yoga tablet 2 tablets with FullHD screen, processor Atom quad-core 1.86 GHz, 2 GB of RAM (32 internal storage), full connectivity and cameras front / rear (the latter from 8 megapixels). Available in two different versions from 8 to 10.1 inches, the line Yoga Tablet 2 adds two additional variations due to the availability of models based on the computer operating system Windows 8.1 (cost of 249 and 399 euro) and Android 4.4 ( 229 and 299 euro.)

Yoga Tablet 2 Pro is instead available only in the Android version (499 dollars the price communicated) with 13.3-inch screen and a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, with a built-in pico projector able to display an image from 50 inches diagonally on a vertical surface. The functionality is apparently born from the “partnership” between Lenovo and the actor Ashton Kutcher, a partnership that is renewed and that apparently includes the ability to project a 3D representation of the VIP with an application of augmented reality.

Accessories questionable technology aside, the renewal of the line proceeds with Yoga Yoga 3 Pro (from $ 1,349 and up, depending on grade), convertible Windows system with an Intel Broadwell dual-core (Core M) 2 , 6GHz characterized by the possibility to fold the screen (13.3 inches and maxi resolution 3200 × 1800 pixels) up to 360 degrees in a sort of tablet with keyboard on the bottom, a system which according to Lenovo involves the use of 800 individual parts assembled by hand.
The latest product Yoga “next-gen” is ThinkPad Yoga 14, a portable system that combines sophisticated design of the brand Yoga to the needs of professional to have a traditional laptop keyboard for productivity and office work. Available exclusively at Best Buy stores and online, ThinkPad Yoga 14 is equipped with 14-inch FullHD screen, Core i5 CPU, Nvidia GeForce 840M GPU, HDD 1 terabyte combined with a 16 gigabyte SSD, for a minimum cost of $ 1,199.
