There has been much talk of the OnePlus Q3 in the last weeks, only this evening with the official announcement, we can do it with full knowledge of the cause, having finally available all of the items. In fact, there’s an improved version under some points of view (processor, memory, camera and battery) of the OnePlus 3 launched in June (compare OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T).Without prejudice to the design of the bodywork (available in color variations of Gunmetal and Soft Gold) and the screen Super AMOLED format FHD 5.5 inch, the new OnePlus 3T has a more powerful Snapdragon 821 with 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of internal memory, unfortunately not expandable further.Unchanged also the rear camera ( Sony IMX298 16-megapixel camera with PDAF, F/2.0 aperture and video recording (4K), while the front has been updated to a Samsung 3P8SP 16 megapixel, always with PDAF, F/2.0 aperture but recording at 1080p. Also improved the battery that is 3,000 mAh goes to the 3,400 mAh battery and, thanks to the fast charging FastCharge, it can store in half an hour, the energy needed to ensure a full day of operation.
The OnePlus 3T measures 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.35 mm and a weight of 158 grams, equal to that of the OnePlus 3 we finally find a fingerprint reader integrated in the Home button and, unlike as hypothesized, Android 6.0 Mashmallow-like operating system present at the time of the launch (Nougat will come in the next few weeks). The OnePlus Q3 will be available from 22 November for a price of 439 euros for the version with 64GB of memory.
