Apple iMac to 5K and magic mouse – Computer Point

Rome – Apple has announced the debut of the renovated versions of the iMac 27-inch and 21.5 systems all-in-one (AIO) that now will be equipped with specific hardware up to date and above new screens with ultra-defined, with a 4K option but also (in the case of the 27 “) with a full 5K.

The new iMac 27″ cost between $ 1,800 and $ 2300, while the 21.5-inch model ” starts at $ 1100 and comes to $ 1,500 in the case of display version Ultra HD / 4K. For such a figure, the average Apple fans will take home an equipped iMac (27-inch models) with x86 CPU Intel Core sixth generation (Skylake), discrete GPU AMD Radeon R9, up to 32 gigabytes of RAM and two Thunderbolt ports 2.

If the iMac 21.5-inch, however, Intel CPUs are those of fifth generation (Broadwell) with integrated GPU Iris Pro, up to 16 Gigabytes of RAM and a display that (according to Apple) is able to guarantee a range richer color. Here, too, the allocation of ports includes external Thunderbolt 2.

Alongside the iMac ultra-screens and CPU Skylake, Apple has also refreshed its accessories for Mac “magical” inclusive Keyboard (Magic Keyboard), mouse (Magic Mouse) and trackpad (Magic Trackpad) with support for touch feedback technology. The design is improved, the prices are increased but included new rechargeable batteries (lithium-ion) that do not require replacement. Keyboard and mouse are included in the package of the 27-inch iMac, while the trackpad is necessarily bought separately and costs $ 130 ($ 60 against the previous version).
