Apple updates its iMac line or desktop computer all in one. It starts with a new display: 21.5-inch iMac comes 4K, while the 27-inch model we arrive at 5K. In detail: the 4K has a resolution of 4096×2304 pixels and 9.4 million, 4.5 times more than the iMac 21.5 “with standard display. The 5K comes to 14.7 million pixels.
Apple also says that the new Retina display enable a better experience for photos and video thanks to a wider range of colors: they offer a color space by 25% higher.
The updated iMac models also have a slimmer design and more powerful processors and graphics. In the case of the 27-inch model is sixth-generation Intel Core and the latest AMD graphics high performance, while the new iMac 21.5 “with Retina display 4K has an Intel Core, fifth generation Intel graphics Iris Pro improved.
The new products have two Thunderbolt ports and two new storage options with technology fusion drive. The new configuration, lower cost, combines a 1TB hard drive and a fast flash drive 24GB. Fusion Drive is also available in 2TB and 3TB configurations with 128GB of flash storage to handle the most demanding workloads. And for even more performance, you can choose a configuration entirely flash up to 1TB of storage that is now up to 2.5 times faster
Apple has also introduced a new line of wireless accessories Magic Keyboard (119 euro), Magic Mouse 2 (89 Euros) and Magic Trackpad 2 (149 €). All are equipped with rechargeable batteries. The Magic Trackpad 2, in particular, the interface integrates Force Touch now available on some MacBook: detects the pressure of the different fingers on the surface and enable subsequent functions.
Prices: the iMac 27 “is available in three models from 2,129, 2,329 and 2,629 Euros. The iMac 21.5 “is available in three models from 1,279 and 1,529 Euros and, with Retina display 4K, from 1,729 Euros.
