In some cases, as reported by the blog The Verge , the profiles that were copied tweets spam account.

A request to defend their post, writes The Verge It has been a freelance writer in Los Angeles, Olga Lexell, who works writes jokes and she was tired of vedersele “snatch” on Twitter (where the shares to test them) to account often “spam” that ripubblicavano but without citing the source. Twitter has given reason, recognizing the intellectual property on 140 characters and deleting tweets “copied”.

Usually the reports that come to Twitter copyright concerning the investigation into media embedded in the post, such as photos and video, or link to sites that illegally publish copyrighted material, such as movies. More rarely making a request for protection of copyright for a tweet, for a sentence of 140 characters, despite writing witty and concise is able to crown real “star” on Twitter.
