Rome – Translate all that appears on the screen of your Android device without having to bounce between applications without laborious copiaincolla : This is the Tap to Translate , which Google has integrated into its Android app dedicated to facilitate the understanding and communication between people who speak different languages.
the user you come across a text written in an unknown language has to do to select it, as if he was copying: the Google Translate icon will come to his aid, and will offer the translation, the ability to listen to the language in the text, and the opportunity to compose an additional text, which will be promptly translated into interlocutor’s language.
the function, already integrated in the app on Android 6.0 devices, it has now been made available for earlier releases of OS Google, from Jellybean (Android 4.2), and will work for all 103 languages understood by the Google translator.
the new Google Translate app is not limited to the version for Android. Mountain View has also made available for iOS function offline translation , and both operating systems language pack have been made less cumbersome, to reach 25 MB.
