Nicola Zingaretti, president of the Lazio Region, told the BBC: “Maker faire has established himself as one of the most important, perhaps the most important European event of innovators, digital artisans, and should be supported. But the real challenge is not to make a ghetto, a niche, where on one side there are the innovators and the other side everything else that does not change, the government, the way to produce the quality and quantity of products . We want to use these events to change the way we produce, to be institution region, places of education. For this early in the laboratories of Lazio institutes of technology will bring a 3D printer, and calls on innovation that we will offer production companies but also to support training will attempt to open these new horizons to those who now wants to change the way through innovation produce or invent new crafts. It is a beautiful challenge the fact that this event after three years is the most important European event on these issues, and tells us what are the great potential that we have to move on. ”
