The TV that keeps mosquitoes away – Olympus Computer (Zeus)

The Mosquito Away LG TV uses ultrasound to ward off insects.

A warm summer evening, the windows open to try a puff d ‘air, a lot of Europeans on television … and the concert of a handful of mosquitoes, attracted by the light and prey, the evening turns into a nightmare.

With such a scenario in mind, LG engineers have decided to come to the aid of their users by designing a TV that keeps mosquitoes away.

It’s called Mosquito Away TV and is equipped with a special device that emits ultrasound: when activated, repels mosquitoes without using chemicals or “dangerous radiation ‘.

The system, which works in TV off, it is also not designed for European users who want to enjoy in peace your favorite team rather than his favorite movie, but for those Indians.

Last year, in New Delhi alone there were almost 16,000 cases of dengue fever caused by mosquitoes: keep away these insects is therefore not an affectation, but a necessity.

For this reason, the Mosquito Away TV goes on sale in India, with prices starting at 26,900 rupees (around 350 euro) for the 32-inch model up to 47,500 rupees (around 620 euro) for 42-inch model.
