The feature phone of the Finnish company are still very popular, especially in emerging countries, and then HMD will continue to offer them to consumers. The novelty of more waiting, however, concerns the arrival of the smartphone (and tablet) operating system with Android.
according to the terms of the agreement, Nokia will receive from the HMD to the payment of a royalty for each device sold. The sum will cover the use of the brand and intellectual property. Brad Rodrigues, interim President of Nokia Technologies, has said that many users were waiting for the return in the field and HMD Global possesses all the skills to bring to the market a new generation of smartphones.
