amazon launches the First Video in 200 Countries – LOOP.it

(ANSA) – ROME, 14 DEC – Amazon launches challenge to Netflix bringing in 200 Countries, including Italy, the service is the First Video, which offers movie and tv series streaming. The service is free for users of Amazon Prime, who pay an annual subscription of 19,99 euros in exchange for 24-hour delivery of goods purchased online. In the Countries where Prime is not available, the service costs eur 2.99 per month for the first six months, then move up to 5,99 euro. In comparison, the monthly subscription to Netflix starts from 7,99 euro.
At the disposal of users there are a series produced by Amazon as “The Grand Tour”, “The Man in The High Castle”, “Transparent”, “Mozart in the Jungle” and “Tumble Leaf, while in 2017 will come new titles, including “Crisis in Six Scenes” by Woody Allen. Next to the original productions, there is a catalogue of films divided by genre, from “Greese” to “Forrest Gump,” “American Graffiti,” “Fast & Furious”, more audio-visual content for children and teens.
the First video is available online at the address PrimeVideo.com and, using apps on iPhone, iPad, Android devices and tablet Amazon Kindle Fire. Also compatible with some Smart TV models from LG and Samsung. Movies and tv series can be downloaded to be watched later without need of internet connection.(ANSA).
