Rome – The digital publishing streets are endless. Not only the company, even now chat. Facebook, the largest social network on the planet, would be thinking to open its Messenger to publishers in order to convey the news via chat. The rumor comes from the site Marketing Land and is part of the plan of the company to become the messaging service a separate universe from social networks and includes multiple services. The company Mark Zuckerberg would be working on software that would allow developers to create a ‘chatbot’, a program that generates content automatically, within Messenger. According to reports, the first to test the novelty would own publishers. The service would work like this: users receive on Messenger excerpts of stories, with a reference to the main news link on the website of the newspaper. The news should be officially presented at the next conference of Facebook developers (F8), to be held in San Francisco on 12 and 13 April. The social network has already signed agreements with publishing companies for Instant Articles, a kind of digital display that allows users to read articles in a magazine, multimedia and interactive forms directly within the social network.
