Three out of four Italians usually watch movies, TV programs and other audiovisual content streaming, and 4 out of 10 are willing to pay for this type of use on the Internet, on average EUR 13.89 per month.
A frame the “generation of streamers” is the study “Samsung Techonomic Index”, conducted in partnership with Lightspeed GMI of 18 thousand people in 18 European countries. 77% of Italians said they routinely access to movies and other video on the web, 12% more than in 2014. The largest gains are interested but who is willing to spend to make use of such content: 40% in 2015 against 10% last year. One in three people choose streaming from “mobile”.
Compared with other Europeans, Italians are the most willing to spend to watch movies, TV shows and other videos online. In the beautiful country is the average expenditure of EUR 13.89, almost 3 euro more than the European average of EUR 11.02. Italy does best with only Portugal 14,68 EUR, while in third place is the Spain with € 13.45, followed by Denmark (12.75 euro) and Norway (12,63). At the bottom are instead Germany (8.92 euro), Romania (8.62), Poland (8.47), the Netherlands (8.26) and Austria (7.50).
