Prepare your eyes to the spectacle of shooting stars in August. If last year the vast moonlight giant prevented us admire them, 2015 should be the ideal year to turn our gaze to the shooting stars, and not only in the night canonical August 10, San Lorenzo . It is tiny fragments of the comet Swift-Tuttle that cross our orbit. The stream of light that we see in the sky are due from their entry into Earth’s atmosphere at high speed. The best time chance to observe are those slower of the night around 2am and still in the hours before dawn. You should look to the north-east , near the constellation Perseus, Andromeda and between the Auriga.

Kappa Cignidi
They come after the Perseids per period and intensity. Be visible from Wednesday 19 to Saturday 22 August, with the peak in the evening of Friday, 21. Although this is a small number of stars visible now, they are easily identified, because of their similarity to fireballs that move slowly enough to be stocks also less attentive observers.

Delta Aquarids
These swarms are visible since the end of July and will go on until August 23 . It is an average of 30 stars visible each hour . A good night would be to the 9 August .

Iota Aquarids
From the August 4 with the peak 6 , will be visible to the 25 August . Their number, unlike other stars, is limited.
