We know that Netflix will arrive in October, after about two years of rumors, in Italy we know today also that the first agreement to bring the contents on the TV has signed Telecom Italy. How the TV service will be available in streaming, TIM customers can access it directly through the set-top box TIMvision, even in HD. This is not an exclusive formula not provided by the American company: Netflix can be accessed via browser and other agreements will come to bring the contents on TV.
Still we do not know the precise day and prices , although the latter should be in line with other European countries where Netflix is already present (France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg) and costs EUR 8 per month with the possibility of unlimited access, and without advertising, to a library of TV series and movies with a major share of own production, and with the options of dubbing and subtitling.
At the launch, the offering will include exclusive Netflix original series, including Marvel’s Daredevil, Sense8, Bloodline, Grace and Frankie, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Marco Polo, documentaries Virunga, Mission Blue and Chef’s Table , a special selection of stand-up comedy, as well as a section dedicated to youth. Programming will enrich ‘with the first original film Netflix, with titles like Beasts of No Nation, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend, Jadotville and The Ridiculous 6. “The offer Netflix will be’ appreciated for the Italian public, thanks subtitling and dubbing, “says the statement.
