Rome – After Google, Microsoft announces its online search engine Bing the revenge porn, that publication on the Internet for revenge of intimate images of former partner, without the consent of the latter. The Redmond has simplified the procedure by which victims can request cancellation, including the results of research, links that connect to the images. Access will be removed even when the content is shared on OneDrive or Xbox Live. Microsoft, in practice, will not remove the images from space private storage of a user, but will prevent it from creating shareable links that point to those images . The move comes after that of Google, which last month announced the removal from its search engine, links to photos flagged as ‘revenge porn’, a phenomenon against which took to the field as well as social Twitter and Reddit. “Unfortunately the revenge porn is growing in the world. It can damage virtually every aspect of the life of a victim: relationships, career, social activities. In the most serious and tragic has also led to suicide,” he wrote Jacqueline Beauchere, head of Microsoft’s online safety, in a post in which he announced the new reporting mechanism.
