Here come the latest from Spain, credible rumors about the iPhone 6, and do not contain good news for portfolios of those who intend to buy the new Apple smartphone.
According to reports from the site Movilzona, generally reliable, the prices of the iPhone 6 will be higher than those of the iPhone 5S, as indeed it has long been suspected.
To be precise, the basic model with a diagonal of 4.7 inches will cost 750 euro while the “premium”, with a diagonal of 5.5 inches, comes to 950 euro.
It should be noted that these figures are the result of negotiations between the telcos and Apple, and therefore may not be definitive; in any case the trend seems to be that of an increase.
If we add to this that the prices in Italy are generally higher than those in other European countries, one can imagine that the iPhone 6 will cost us even more: we are talking about 30 euro more (ie 780 and 980 euro), including fair compensation.
Finally, one wonders what could be the reason why Apple has decided to raise prices.
According to rumors from Chinese factories, the justification would be to look for the use of more expensive components such as the sapphire crystal that would replace the Gorilla Glass all over the phone, and that on the iPhone 5S was instead used only for the camera and the fingerprint reader.
In addition, it seems that the internal memory has increased, with the base model starting from 32 GB (right up to the 64 GB version is greater).
In any case, any doubt will be dissolved in a little more than two weeks: the official announcement of the iPhone 6 is scheduled for September 9, with the start of sales in Europe from October .
