The Earth’s resources are exhausted, is “Overshoot Day”
We are a civilization dedicated to the senseless consumption of each resource we face, and this is certainly not new. We consume more, much more, than they really need to live, this is nothing new. The Overshoot Day, the day on which sanctions the use of resources naturally produced by the Earth for the current year, it is only a confirmation of all this, our bulimic and senseless consumption, our inexplicable desire to devour everything, maybe even throwing it away when you no longer need.
removing it to others. In August, therefore the eighth month of the year (which is not yet completed) are already in the red with the biologically produced resources from the Earth and that there should be enough for a whole year. The Global Footprint Network and the New Economic Foundation have devised a great way to figure out when resources are beyond the threshold of consumption but at the moment there is still no movement of thought and action that limits the consumption of unhealthy all that the Earth there provides, free of charge, and the waste of all that we are as a gift in her hands by mother nature.
