If there was ever needed a reason to grab a beer and celebrate, this is it. But only if you grab a beer brewed by Brewery Saltwater, because they are the guys behind this brilliant new idea.
They were able to develop the packaging it is 100% biodegradable beers. The premise is already quite good, but the best part is that they are also totally edible. Americans drank 6.3 billion liters of beer last year, and 50% were in cans. Most of the plastic rings from six beer used end up in the ocean where they represent a devastating threat to marine life and birds. So the company of craft beer in Delray Beach, Florida, has decided to “reinvent” their packages, not only for wildlife, but also for humans. The housings are made from beer by-products such as barley and wheat, and even humans can eat them as a snack.
